  • Entrance requirements for full-time study Top of Page

Each TAFEWA qualification has a set of entrance requirements that you must meet before your application will be considered (except bridging and entry courses). These entrance requirements are listed under each qualification both on this website and in the TAFEWA full-time studies guide.

For further information see entrance requirements and selection criteria.

What are selection criteria and do I need to address them?  Top of Page

Selection criteria are used as the basis to rank eligible applicants competing for entry into a qualification where there are more applicants applying for a qualification and location than there are places available.

Applicants are scored against the selection criteria for each qualification the applicant applies for  - where it is identified that selection criteria must be addressed.  This method of selection provides an equitable way of determining which applicants will be offered a place.

Selection criteria need only be addressed when qualifications display the following heading:

When applying for this qualification you are required to address entry requirements and selection criteria.

Not all qualifications require applicants to address the selection criteria.

For further information see entrance requirements and selection criteria.
